DescrizioneEdizione in Blu-rayDiretto dal vincitore di Grammy Jake Scott Oasis Knebworth 1996 e' una gioiosa e toccante celebrazione cinematografica di uno dei concerti piu' iconici degli ultimi 25 anni incentrato principalmente sulla musica e sull'esperienza dei fan. Il film celebra la storia del rapporto speciale tra gli Oasis e i loro fan che ha reso possibile uno dei piu' grandi concerti degli anni '90. raccontato interamente attraverso gli occhi dei fan che erano li' costruito attorno a un ampio e inedito archivio di filmati live e backstage dell'evento con ulteriori interviste alla band e agli organizzatori del concerto.Lo speciale album live intitolato Oasis Knebworth 1996 sara' pubblicato da Big Brother Recordings Ltd e prevede un triplo LP in vinile 180gr con audio HD il DVD uscira' come un set triplo di dischi che comprende il documentario cinematografico Oasis Knebworth 1996 piu' entrambi i concerti dal vivo in versione integrale ed il Blu-ray in formato disco singolo. I formati in edizione limitata includono il 2CD + DVD del documentario cinematografico oltre a un Super Deluxe Box Set che include il triplo LP 2CD e triplo DVD piu' repliche dei cimeli originali del concerto (boxset disponibile esclusivamente nello store della band).Le due serate da record degli Oasis a Knebworth si sono svolte il 10 e 11 agosto 1996 con oltre un quarto di milioni di giovani appassionati di musica provenienti da tutto il mondo che si sono riuniti a Knebworth Park nell'Hertfordshire. I biglietti sono stati messi in vendita l'11 maggio 1996. Le code si sono formate fuori dai negozi di dischi e dalle biglietterie locali durante la notte ei fan di tutto il mondo avevano trascorso la giornata cercando di mettersi in contatto con le linee di prenotazione costantemente impegnate. Tutti i biglietti sono andati esauriti in meno di 24 ore battendo ogni record ai botteghini del Regno Unito. Gli organizzatori hanno stimato che la band avrebbe potuto vendere il doppio o il triplo dei biglietti. Gli spettacoli monumentali sono ambientati sullo sfondo del Regno Unito che si stava lentamente riprendendo da un decennio di recessione. Emergendo dagli anni '80 l'umore della nazione stava cambiando. Una rinascita culturale delle arti e nella loro ascesa fulminea gli Oasis incarnarono quel ritrovato ottimismo e spavalderia. In soli due anni la band era passata da una piccola realta' di Manchester a una delle piu' grandi band del mondo. Con una scaletta piena di classici dell'apertura di Columbia e Acquiesce fino a Champagne Supernova Don't Look Back In Anger Live Forever e I Am The Walrus per finire con la prima canzone degli anni '90 a superare un miliardo di stream su Spotify Wonderwall ! I concerti di Knebworth sono stati sia l'apice del successo della band che il punto di riferimento per una intera generazione.Il film e' prodotto da Black Dog Films per Kosmic Kyte Ltd. Noel Gallagher e Liam Gallagher figurano come produttori esecutivi. finanziato e distribuito da Sony Music Entertainment e sara' distribuito nelle sale da Trafalgar Releasing.
